The Program
The Location
Located at 221 Chemin de Saint Julien in Biot, the site overlooks the valley and enjoys unobstructed views to the Mediterranean. Set in a quiet, tree-lined residential environment, just minutes from the historic village center and 20 minutes from Nice International Airport.
The Heritage
The program enhances Provençal heritage by combining contemporary architecture, respect for existing buildings, and refined landscape integration. Each placement has been carefully studied to preserve views, natural topography, and existing vegetation. The estate is set within a landscape of terraces, olive trees, and Mediterranean gardens.
Architecture
The project is led by Bernard Fauroux, a renowned architect for execution, and Atelier Parages for design. Bernard Fauroux has brought his expertise to the rehabilitation of La Bastide and the creation of new villas with natural stone facades and contemporary lines that enhance the site.
Interior Design and Landscape
Diane Falavel, interior architect for refined atmospheres blending solid wood, stone, metal, and large windows. Julien Rossignol, landscape architect for refined treatment of dry stone terraces, Mediterranean gardens, olive trees, and mineral pathways.
